Co-ltek Does it Again!
Co-ltek has announced the production of a new POWER CURLY CORD that is of such outstanding quality that it actually provides your SD machine with more power from the battery.
THE PROBLEM?
The standard curly power cord provided with your SD machine has a limited current carrying capacity giving rise to a substantial voltage drop! Many of these cables have as much as a 300 mV voltage drop from the battery to the control box!
THE SOLUTION?
Co-ltek has developed and actually manufactures a new curly power cord cable made with 1mm stranded copper wire, TWICE THE THICKNESS OF THE cable supplied with your machine. Use a Co-ltek cord and your power drop from battery to detector is not 300 mV, but only 60mV.
Quite simply the NEW Co-ltek CURLY CORD pumps more juice into your detector.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
This cable is polyurethane covered making it extremely tough, and it is larger in diameter making it clamp tighter into the plug. We use the highest quality plugs! did you know that there are different quality plugs avaialable? There are! There are economy models, available at Radio Shack, and then there are the plugs we use which are the highest quality available that literally cost twice what the cheap plugs do!
AN ADDED BENEFIT!
Here's something we didn't think of, but was discovered when some of our prototypes were put into the field with prospectors. The thicker cord actually makes the battery charge up faster!
The cord on the top is the standard cord supplied with the SD2200d machine. The cord below it is the new Co-ltek SUPER CORD.

Solder the pig tail quick disconnect on, and plug in your new ADAPTER BOX. Now you can plug your headphones in to one side and your NEW CURLY POWER CORD into the other side and no more plastic domed cover to get broken, and you can have a few spare batteries with quick disconnect pig tails for an easy battery switch.
